We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide professional and therapeutic massage treatments to clients, helping them relax, relieve stress, and address specific health concerns. This role is offered on a self employed basis with the need for weekly flexibility to be agreed either through a retainer or set hours per week, to be discussed.

Responsibilities:

– Perform all massage techniques on our spa offering: Full Body Swedish Massage, Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Reflexology Treatment, Indian Head massage, Facial Treatment, Tailer-Made Treatments.

– Communicate with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction throughout the session

– Adhere to all sanitation and safety protocols

– Stay informed about current trends and developments in the field of massage therapy

Requirements:

– Proven experience in performing therapeutic massages

– Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to adapt techniques based on individual client needs

– Professionalism and a strong work ethic

Yurtshire is a market leading Glamping and Wellness Resort on the outskirts of Ripon, set within beautiful grounds in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Beauty.

As the maintenance ‘go-to’ at Yurtshire, you will be responsible for maintaining a five star, safe environment for our guests, by ensuring our Glamping and Wellness Resorts grounds and facilities are well maintained on a day-to-day basis throughout the seasons (all year round).

This is a hands-on position that requires mechanical knowledge, landscape maintenance skills, and the ability to use both hand and power tools effectively. If you enjoy a variety within your work and managing a varied workload then this could well be the role for you. From completing repairs such as fixing locks and leaky taps, to painting, grass cutting, oiling decks and building yurt structures, no two days are ever the same!

Our team take pride in delivering exceptional guest experience and our sites need to be kept in tip top condition at all times. Inspecting and troubleshooting problems and issues reported by guests or colleagues is a key part of the role and therefore previous maintenance and woodworking experience is essential. Plumbing / electrics would be advantageous, but not essential. Other work experience may include, Handyman, Maintenance Engineer, Joiner. Desirable skills would include, property maintenance & repair, machinery maintenance,

This is a full-time role to include weekend ‘on-call’ duties and working across two sites, having your own transport is also essential, as is the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.

Part time Glamping Housekeepers

CURRENT VACANCY:

Part time Glamping Housekeepers

We are looking for self employed housekeepers to work at our stunning glamping sites set in the beautiful countryside of North Yorkshire, near Ripon. Our two sites are just 3 miles apart. Housekeeping will include the cleaning and preparation of our glamping yurts for our visiting guests.

Duties will include:

Changing bedding

Full cleaning of the yurt and it’s facilities including the kitchen area and bathroom.

Hot tub emptying, cleaning and refilling.

Full cleaning of each yurt’s decking area, including the BBQ / fire pit.

Replenishing log baskets and small log store.

Liaising with the Yurtshire team to ensure that cleaning supplies and linen supplies are replenished.

Housekeeping hours:

We are open 7 days a week and have change overs every day. Typical hours would be 10am until 3pm (This can be negotiated around school hours if needed). We do need applicants to be flexible to work some weekends.

We provide all cleaning materials and we arrange the laundering of all linen.

Essential for the role:

• Ability to work to impeccable cleaning standards.
• Ability to consistently present the yurts to a high standard for our guests.
• To be able to take the initiative to solve any problems that may arise.
• To be willing to tackle any other cleaning tasks that may arise.
• Ability to work with our small team to ensure the smooth running of the site.
• Self-motivated, reliable and friendly.
• Flexible, hardworking with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills
• A moderate level of fitness would be beneficial due to nature of the role.
