Loud noise and nuisance will not be tolerated and guests must be respectful to other guests on the site at all times. Guests who are deemed to be causing a nuisance can be liable for loss of deposit money and/or ejected from the site.

Water  – Drinking water is located in each shower unit for each yurt. To access the drinking water, guests are required to disconnect the hose which connects to the shower from the tap.

Electricity – All our Yurtshire sites are off-grid, meaning there is no electricity and therefore no lighting. We recommend all guests to bring a torch with them so they can see at night if they need to use the bathroom facilities. Many guests tend to also bring a portable battery pack or in car phone charger.

Toilets – Each yurt has its own private, full flushing toilet located behind the yurt in its own cubicle.

Showers – Each yurt has its own private shower (heated by gas). The water in the shower unit is drinking water. See point above.

HOT TUBS – Please read the rules and user instructions for the hot tubs in full.  If you use the hot tubs, you do so at your own risk.  Yurtshire will not be responsible for any injury or illness as a result of using the hot tubs.

Please inform us immediately by telephone and then in writing if you need to make a cancellation, whereupon we will, without prejudice to our right to retain the full rental payment, make every effort to re-let the yurt and refund your money, less a £25 administration charge. You will be liable for the rent in full if we cannot re-let the yurt.

Please be respectful to all equipment. Guests are liable for any costs incurred due to loss of or damage to equipment. Guests will be charged for the cost of repair or replacement of damaged items, post stay.

Following guest departure all equipment (including the yurt) will be checked and examined and any damages incurred will be charged to the person responsible for booking the stay. Failure to make payment will result in further action taken.

Equipment instructions for the hot tub are provided in the welcome pack within the yurt, and should be carefully followed.

Groups of 8 guests or more will be required to pay a security bond of £120 per yurt. The Site Manager reserves the discretion to ask any customer for a security bond regardless of party size. This will be refunded in full at the end of your stay unless, in the opinion of the Site Manager, you have displayed unreasonable behaviour (this includes but is not limited to, wilful damage to the site or other people’s property and abuse of our staff, excessive noise should any members of staff/site managers be called out to such nuisances £40.00 of the security bond will be retained each call out).

For groups, the names of all the guests in the party need to be provided at the time of booking. Failure to provide all the names may lead to the booking being cancelled or the Site Manager refusing entry to the site.

Occupancy of the yurt must not exceed 5 people and we reserve the right to refuse occupancy if the numbers exceed this. The booking will then be deemed cancelled with full loss of payment.

In no event will Yurtshire be liable or held responsible for any injuries caused as a result of our facilities or products. Axes, fires and knives should be used by a responsible adult only.
