How many guests does each yurt sleep?

At Yurtshire Fountains the yurt can accommodate five guests.

At Eavestone Lake the yurts can sleep four guests. There is a child’s camp bed available on request for Eavestone Lake if it’s a family of five.

Do we need to bring bedding?

No, all your bedding is provided. Each yurt comes with freshly laundered sheets, pillows and duvets.

The double bed will be made up for your arrival but the futons will be folded away to allow for a pleasant seating area when you arrive. If you have booked for three or more guests the bedding will be folded on top of the futons or bed.

If guests do not wish to share the double bed or double futon you can add additional laundry to your booking for an extra £10.

Are towels provided?

Yes. Each guest is given a complimentary bath towel and hand towel.
If you wish to use the hot tub, why not add an extra towel to your booking?

Are there hot tubs on site?

Yes. Each yurt has its own private wood-burning hot tub.

How long does it take to heat the hot tub?

Typically 3 hours, but it depends on the temperature of the water used to fill the tub and the outside weather conditions.

How do you heat the hot tub?

The burner can be fired up only when there is sufficient water in the tub to cover the burner chamber, which is below the flue outlet. There is a sign on the burner highlighting the water level. You can control the temperature by regulating the amount of wood added and air supplied (via the lid opening). Instructions are provided on the hot tubs.

Is the hot tub pre-heated?

No. However we do offer a pre-light service for £17.50.  We can’t guarantee the hot tub will be ready to jump straight into on arrival as it takes 3 hours to fully heat up and we need to empty, deep clean and re-fill the hot tub with water before we can light the fire, but if it’s not fully heated it will be well on it’s way. To book this service, please email info@yurtshire.co.uk

Are logs provided?

Yes. Each yurt is given a complimentary bag of logs. The logs are used to fuel the wood burning stove (inside the yurt) and the hot tub. Extra logs can be purchased on site for £5 per bag.
